Abstract: Idempotent operators are one of the possible criterions for simplification trees. These operators act
over internal nodes of trees. Moreover, they transform structural equivalent sub-trees, which have the same root
into a single copy. This copy will be placed into the common root reducing –simplifying- the tree.
This process can be also applied to membrane structures; in this case idempotent operator will be applied to non
elementary membranes, and the process will produce the simplest possible membrane structure. The main idea
of this work is to apply this kind of operator to binary membrane structures to identify possible recurrent sub-trees
and to study possible application of this concept to hardware design implementations.

are realized in design of informational retrieval system MAIPS where the retrieval procedure is personified on
multiagent paradigm and ontological analysis. MAIPS uses technologies and standards of Semantic Web and

Abstract: We describe a control method based on optimization techniques to control of spatiotemporal chaos in a
globally coupled map lattice (CML) system. We have developed a method for updating a CML model emulating
complex spatial dynamics in an epileptic brain that exhibits characteristic spatiotemporal changes seen during
transitions into a seizure susceptible state. Our updating algorithm uses metaheuristic techniques for obtaining
feedback control parameters for controlling spatiotemporal chaos (local and global Lyapunov exponents). This
methodology can be used in systems with hidden variables, i.e. where not all variables can be observed, such as
the human brain, to reconstruct evolution maps and complex spatial patterns. Results from numerical simulations
show that this algorithm is robust and effective in achieving controllability of the lattice model. We discuss the
computational aspects of this learning methodology and its potential application in epileptic seizure control.

Abstract: In this paper a solution is propose to organize the space of words that exist in a specific language in
their different semantic categories. By taking a natural language, we're going to define a unique meaning for each
word, as a construction made (d,C) of pairs of words and contexts. On the other hand, let us consider the space
of meanings. All the words that share meaning (synonymous words) can be associated with one meaning. This
permitus to make a partition of the space of words in groups of synonyms. Finally, a classification of the space of
words will be obtained in the different groups of words that share meaning. This allow to choose the useful word
that represent a meaning, and reduce the number of words selecting one representative from each group of
synonyms. It will be very useful for calculating distances between words.

Abstract: There are two architectures that preserve the tree topology of the P system: peer-to-peer and
hierarchical peer-to-peer. Architectures used the concept of proxy to reduce the size of messages and
communication time. In this paper, we propose that the proxy no only reduces the time needed to sending
messages, but also reduce the number of connections between processors. Normally, in one transition, two
processors communicate three times, but with this algorithm, the communications are reducing to only one. We
present the proxy algorithms for these architectures.

Abstract: Shocks and jumps of different funds' functions bring extreme negative values of great consequences to
investors. There is always a factor of uncertainty in any economic situation, and in order to make the right
investment decisions, or to choose the right business strategy, we require some form of workable hypothesis (that
takes into account uncertainty and randomness) to base our decisions upon. Although both risk and upward
potential are related to uncertainty of future events, risks usually play a more dominant role in investment
decisions since investors are risk averse. At most cases detection of risk is one of the most important parts of a
financial analysis.
This article will examine ways to measure and manage risk in making investment decisions. Here we determine
Brownian motion as the estimation method of the investment risks and show the specific features of the given
method during the statistic data analyses.

Abstract: Augmented reality solution development for mobile devices is a rather young domain. There are very
few guidelines and practically no patterns or mature frameworks for application developers. In this paper we
present an evolution of an augmented reality guide for museums, we demonstrate possible solutions for major
problems that were encountered. We discuss possible uses of augmented reality for mobile guide development
and propose a possible alternative for augmented reality: a technique we call Smooth Transition. We demonstrate
that for mobile guide a blend of Smooth Transition and Augmented Reality is the best solution. We analyze
several approaches to exhibit recognition including: barcode recognition, special marker recognition and image of
exhibit recognition. We analyze several major augmented reality frameworks based on practical experience of
mobile guide development. Also we argue that a mobile guide must have user navigation capabilities, which allow
users to find their route in an exhibition. We propose two different approaches to user navigation: spatial and
semantical: first allows user to see a general layout of exhibition, while second helps user to navigate between
thematically close exhibits. We also outline the basic components of a service-oriented architecture we call
museum as a service. Museum as a service is a system which will allow any museum to promptly and with
minimal expenses deploy a mobile guide application based on augmented reality and smooth transition.

Abstract: Currently many issues related to the development of semantic indexing methods remain open. The
problem of search pertinence increasing with a low time-complexity is one of the major research issues in
Computer Science. Semantic search as an alternative solution to this problem has a high time complexity. This
paper describes the use of agent-based approach to reduce the time complexity of constructing semantic indexes
used for searching. Obvious, once created index must be stored in document. The second part of this paper
describes an approach for inclusion of metadata in electronic documents which have such open document format
as OpenXML or Open Document Format. The proposed approach enables to perform an effective semantic
indexing and the semantic searching. Semantic indexing of electronic documents is intended to include special
structure associated with the content of documents in its metadata. Most of the currently used electronic
document formats do not permit the inclusion of additional information, on the contrary electronic documents
open formats Office Open XML and OpenDocument? Format allow to solve this problem.

Abstract: In the problem of optimal estimation of model parameters using risk criteria we propose an approach of
separation of linear parameters from the nonlinear ones. In the problem of finding a global minimum of risk criteria
our approach leads to a decrease of the dimension of the space of free variables up to the dimension of the
space of the nonlinear parameters. This allows one to obtain a simpler minimization problem, which can be
solved more efficiently via Monte Carlo methods. Such an improvement is very significant in estimation of the
models of the object “aging” while investigation of geophysical objects, models of which typically have high
dimensionality. We illustrate the proposed method with processing and analysis of data obtained during the field

computational models based on nature's behavior to process the information. Recently, numerous models have

nature. What we show in this paper is a new model that deals with encrypted information which provides security

Abstract: We present a logical tool which allows understanding the rationality of the translation underlying some
interactions in Nature. In an abstract, formal way, we can demonstrate the epistemological link between a
sequence and a multidimensional assembly – that is, between the DNA and the organism.
The model presented here is a work of basic science. It allows exact conceptualizations relating to logical
markers, thresholds, constants on the levels of Logic and Information Theory. Some interpretations of the
principles demonstrated here will allow the building of hypotheses relating to fields, forces, mass, velocity, energy
and the like concepts. The accounting exactitude observed on processes of a chemical nature is well mirrored in
the model. We see that a three-some of logical markers evolves as the basic definition of a process: that is, if we
observe a change in a logical assembly, we relate it to a three-some. The “triplet” known from Genetics appears
to be the represented in formal logic as the basic tool of registering change. In this respect, the model allows the
application of accounting methods in the understanding of theoretical genetics.
